Speaking of watches, I’m dying to get this one for men one day for my husband Jack. The steam punk look is my all time favorite.
Another favorite of mine? Mixing casual fabrics and denim with statement jewelry pieces like this sparkly metallic bow tie bangle. Along with a chunky watch, you can take even the most casual of looks from day to night. If you’re just out and about running errands or with the kids like me, invest in pieces that still look killer but don’t cost a fortune. Besides my wedding ring, I usually reserve pricey items for special occasions. That way if my three year old daughter finds it and loses it, or my one year old son somehow manages to find a way to destroy it like everything else he so destructively handles, I won’t lose any sleep over it. Having two kids makes you lose enough sleep as it is, so if there’s a way to avoid the potential loss of any more, you better believe I’m gonna take it!
The white lace shorts are my favorite and have been worn out by me all summer long. Since it’s still 88 degrees out here in Florida, I decided to wear them past the summertime expiration date anyway. In fact, I’ll probably wear them for as long as I possibly can, then put them away for our two month winter with “cold fronts” of 65 degrees, and take them right back out again.
Hope everyone is having a sunny Sunday!
