It’s Christmas Eve in the Hannan house, here’s a peek at what it was like.
His & Hers Christmas Pants: EmberKid.
It’s Christmas Eve! I can’t believe it’s already here, to me it seems like this whole month flew by so quickly. Giada has been so excited all day (well really, all month) and hasn’t gotten off her Santa tracker app for one second. Ok, I didn’t bake these cookies, I’ll admit it! But that’s only because I’ve been through about 5 batches of homemade cookies so far and they kept eating them up! With time being so short and my kitchen finally being clean, I decided to take the kids to our local bakery and pick out some just for Santa instead. For all you avid bakers, don’t worry! I know of the best sugar cookie recipe that’s been tested by everyone here in the house and you can find it here.
This is the first Christmas that Giada really knows all about Santa Claus and gets to share her excitement with her ever-growing (and hilarious) brother, so needless to say we are all anticipating tomorrow morning very much. I wanted them to have some Christmas pictures to remember this year with them both wearing the same thing, it’s important to me because at this stage they are both so very close and like two peas in a pod. When I found these matching pants from EmberKid, I knew right away I had to have them. I wanted them to look back and always remember how much they love eachother, even at the ripe age of 1. Marco adores his sister SO much, he looks up to her and copies her every move while Giada protects him and constantly watches over him like a hawk. They are both what you would call genuine best friends, Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dumb, and this Christmas I couldn’t find myself wanting anything more than for them to be happy. These two great kids are the light of my life, and Jack & I are so very grateful and blessed.
From everyone here at the Hannan house, Merry Christmas Eve!
